Welcome to The Australian Nurse Teachers’ Society
The Australian Nurse Teachers’ Society (ANTS) is a national, autonomous professional organisation dedicated exclusively to nursing and midwifery education.
Established in New South Wales in 1975, ANTS was formed to support the professional interests of nurse teachers. Over the past 50 years, the Society has grown to encompass nursing and midwifery educators across Australia, including clinicians, specialists, academics, and independent practitioners with a shared commitment to education.
ANTS provides a strong, collective voice for those who educate the nursing and midwifery workforce, shaping our profession today and into the future.
