ANTS History

The Australian Nurse Teachers’ Society (ANTS) was founded in New South Wales to advance and support the professional interests of nurse educators. Since its establishment, the Society has expanded nationally to include both nursing and midwifery, with a diverse membership comprising clinicians, specialists, and academics committed to education.

Our mission is to provide meaningful support to those delivering education and learning to nurses and midwives. We achieve this through a range of initiatives, including educational forums, newsletters, webinars, research and study grants, assistance for conference attendance, and opportunities to connect and network with like-minded professionals.

We invite you to join us in promoting and strengthening this organisation as we continue to champion excellence in nursing and midwifery education.
