Meet the NNEC 2027 Committee!

We are delighted to introduce Dr Lisa Beccaria.

Lisa is an Associate Professor of Nursing with nearly 20 years’ experience in higher education and a strong commitment to excellence and innovation in nursing education. Her research centres on student engagement, wellbeing and success, underpinned by a focus on equity and inclusion. She has a particular interest in simulation, technology-enhanced learning and authentic assessment as ways to build students’ communication, clinical reasoning and safe decision-making skills.

Lisa has led a range of collaborative initiatives in curriculum innovation, transition support and educator capability development. She is recognised for translating research into practice, enhancing educational quality and fostering collaboration, and through her leadership contributes to a vibrant community of practice that supports the ongoing advancement of nursing and midwifery education. Her work aligns closely with ANTS’ mission to strengthen the capabilities and impact of nurse educators.
